Whole Person Psychiatric Care
The whole person approach is a multidimensional and holistic approach to psychiatric care that focuses on the patient and their overall health instead of focusing on just one aspect of their health. Whole person psychiatric care deals with physical health, mental and emotional health, and even the spiritual health of a patient.
Dr. La Noce understands how help her patients in a comprehensive way. She cares about her patients and believes in treating the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.
The mind and body are connected in ways deeper than people usually think. People with chronic physical illnesses are more likely to develop mental illnesses like depression and anxiety, and people with mental illness are more likely to experience physical illnesses.
At La Noce Psychiatry, I thoroughly evaluate my patients. I analyze the scope of the patient’s illness, including their medical and psychiatric history. I find out whether there are any concurrent disorders, and I get the information about any treatment programs the patient has participated in previously – what has worked, what has not and why.
Once equipped with all the necessary information, I curate a plan for treating the whole person. With my whole person approach, the patient’s medical, psychiatric, behavioral, and spiritual needs are all addressed.
