Dr. Dongcheng Li is joining the TMW team. He is a licensed acupuncturist with Master's degrees in Chinese Medicine and Exercise Physiology and a Doctoral degree from Johns Hopkins University. He has been practicing acupuncture for 15 years specializing in treatments related to sports medicine and pain management.

Acupuncture is done using needles thinner than human hair, meaning that most patients report very minimal pain levels. The goal of this treatment is to target pressure points and simulate the CNS. According to the WHO, acupuncture has been shown to be beneficial in treating a variety of conditions when used in conjunction with other therapies to promote physical and emotional wellbeing.

Some of the conditions shown to benefit from acupuncture treatment include nausea, dental pain, menstrual cramps, headaches, migraines, lower back pain, anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

All of our techniques are in compliance with all State regulations. We only use disposable needles, and strictly follow the regulations of OSHA and CDC. These sterilized acupuncture needles are manufactured, packaged, and shipped in sterilized containers in compliance with all applicable laws.
