8. Outpatient Treatment


This treatment doesn’t need patients to live at the treatment center. Rather, they visit the center or therapist’s office on a few days of the week. It is best suited for people with a solid support system, mild to moderate symptoms, and the capacity of functioning outside of the treatment ambiance. Different outpatient therapies are group therapy, individual therapy, support groups, family therapy, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient care, psychiatric medications, and outpatient medical management.
